Own It
Own what you eat, how you eat, and when you eat. Start taking accountability, without emotion, and look at the foods you consume in a day. Are they serving you? If the answer is “no”, it’s time for a change. Logging helps keep you on track. I mean log EVERYTHING.
Stop It
Stop the negative talk. Easy, right? No, it’s not, but if you can listen to that voice inside your head that shames you and blames you for the foods you are putting in your body, just know, they are not your friend! It’s okay to “check” yourself for making bad choices, but it’s not okay to stay in that negative headspace. Let it go, be gentle and supportive, and just keep going. There is a reason the rearview mirror is so small and the windshield is so big…ONWARD!
Eat It
The rainbow, that is! If your food is mostly brown, beige, yellow, golden, or white, you are doing yourself a disservice. Add these now: green, red, blue, yellow, orange, and purple. All shades, please.
