Laser Facial Resurfacing in Maryland

repairs wrinkled, sun-damaged skin, while repairing uneven skin texture.

If  you are looking to have the best skin of your life, look no further than Laser Skin Rejuvenation.

Laser Facial Resurfacing Treatments

Laser skin resurfacing helps you achieve your best look. Our doctors offer customized laser resurfacing to effectively treat wrinkles, sun damage, discolored skin and broken blood vessels. Laser skin resurfacing involves the use of several lasers to specifically treat your problem areas. Your treatment can involve minimal downtime, or you can choose a more aggressive treatment program to achieve maximal change in one session. All packages are tailored to your particular needs and time constraints. Gentlewave LED light treatment is added to most laser facial rejuvenations to accelerate healing and to reduce redness. This treatment is painless and perfectly complements your facial rejuvenation.

Broadband Light (BBL) is used to resurface and revitalize arms, legs and the décolletage. It corrects freckling, age spots, and sun damaged thin skin.

Laser Facial Resurfacing FAQs

The Fraxel Restore Laser in combination with Broadband Light (BBL) is an example of how you can repair skin and reverse the skin aging process. Many patients opt to have several treatments to avoid a longer recovery.

Most people have to take a week out of the public eye. We follow you carefully during the recovery period. Our medical staff gives careful instruction to the patient prior to treatment. The results are worth the effort.

Yes. Treatment begins with the application of a numbing cream, followed by numbing areas to be treated. Oral medications are also given if the patient has someone to drive them home. We make every effort to keep you comfortable.

Laser Rejuvenation with PRP

Our doctors take a small amount of your blood and spin it in a centrifuge to obtain Platelet Rich Plasma. PRP aids in wound healing, triggers tissues to regenerate, and releases growth factors for cellular rejuvenation. There is no concern for rejection or an allergic reaction when using this product, because it comes from your own natural biology.

Our cosmetic physicians now use PRP to fight wrinkles, and to improve volume, tightness, and texture of the skin.

The doctors first treat the face, neck, décolletage, or hands with the Profractional Laser to open up deep micro-channels in the skin. Then, they directly apply the PRP to the skin. Your own natural cells soak into the micro-channels and go to work to improve your skin. Remaining PRP is injected under the skin to help support sagging tissues. You get the benefit of a double rejuvenation with the laser and the PRP.

This double rejuvenation heals fast because of the repairing factors in Platelet Rich Plasma. Downtime is minimal.

Laser Facial Rejuvenation

Our laser facial rejuvenation program gets rid of fine lines and wrinkles, resolves sun damage and facial spider veins, noticeably tightens saggy skin and flattens acne scars! This treatment program gives you smoother and younger looking skin with little or no loss of work time.

Our doctors’ tailor a program specific to your skin needs. They have 15 different lasers and light sources, and lots of experience to perfect a plan that is just right for you. A customized rejuvenation involves two to three different lasers for one great price.

You can choose whether or not you want a series of minimum downtime treatments, or a more aggressive treatment program that involves more recovery time. The choice is always beautiful.

Most of the lasers used in rejuvenation cause only a day or two of redness. You can cover the redness with cosmetics, and our medical professionals have ColoreScience Mineral makeup to show you.

Absolutely! Laser rejuvenation works by remodeling and building up collagen. Collagen is a naturally occurring substance that makes skin supple and provides support. Laser treatment flattens the scar and then collagen rebuilds in a healthy way.

Depending on how you take care of your skin, improvements last 5-10 years. It’s important to protect yourself while in the sun, and to use quality skin care products to prolong and enhance your result. Ask about our doctor selected and customized skincare products for healthy luminous skin.

Yes, and this is where laser rejuvenation gets lovely. The Skin Tyte laser tightens skin wherever it droops, broad band light wipes out age spots on arms and legs, and we use the Fraxel Laser on hands to remove discoloration and wrinkles.

Laser Hand Rejuvenation

Nothing shows a person’s age more than his or her hands. Our doctors have strategies to smooth wrinkles, get rid of liver spots and diminish the appearance of bulgy blood vessels on your hands. They use various laser treatments to treat wrinkles and age spots. Dermal fillers add volume to thinning skin to reduce the appearance of raised veins. Expect excellent results.

Yes. The Fraxel Re:pair laser tightens skin dramatically, and also smooths wrinkles. Other lasers are used according to your need.

Cosmetic surgery removes excess tissue to correct this condition. Laser treatment also works with cosmetic surgery to thicken collagen and to enhance healing of surgical incisions.

MicroLaserPeel

MicroLaserPeel (MLP) treatment is a great way to refresh dull sun damaged skin. The doctors do laser peels at various intensities. For example, an Artic Peel done at 10 microns of depth clears surface sun damage, brightens the skin, and improves texture with minimal downtime. You have a few days of redness followed by mild peeling. Our doctors often do deeper peels to better repair sun-damaged skin. Deeper peels add more time to recovery. Our doctors customize your treatment plan according to what you need and want.

Frequently, Broadband Light treatment is added to a customized treatment plan to further treat age spots, skin discoloration and broken blood vessels. Results are noticeable and lovely.

Yes. We prescribe a lidocaine product to apply prior to treatment. The doctors also inject sensitive areas with lidocaine to insure your comfort.

You can usually wear makeup the next day after a lighter treatment. However, a deeper peel would have several days of recovery before applying cosmetics.
